Support Groups

Acacia Adult Day Services offers the following support groups on a monthly basis.

The following support groups are held at 11391 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove on specified dates from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.:

• “Soup and Support”
  • 4th Tuesday every month
  • Facilitator: Jan Brooks, MSW
  • Open to all caregivers.
    
• “Vietnamese Caregivers”
  • 3rd Tuesday every month
  • Facilitators: Pauline Le, MSW & Kristine Diep Ho, BSW
  • Open to all Vietnamese speaking caregivers
  • Co-sponsored by Orange Caregiver Resource Center.
    
• “Vietnamese Caregivers of Persons with Alzheimer’s Disease”
  • 1st Wednesday every month
  • Facilitator: Quynh Nguyen, Social Worker
  • Open to Vietnamese speaking caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s
  • Co-sponsored by Alzheimer's Association

The following support groups are held at the Cypress Senior Center located at:

9031 Grindlay Street
Cypress, CA 90630

• Support Groups offered in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association
  • 3rd Wednesday every month
  • Two time slots are offered for the groups: 1:30 - 3:00 PM with facilitator Judith Gallaher, M.A. or 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with facilitators Peggy Carroll, MSW and Jessica Cimarusti of the Alzheimer’s Association;
  • These support groups are for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory disorders.
